Island Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine Ltd (based in Peel , Isle of Man) was born out of "Rick Holden Physiotherapy" which began at the Mount Murray Hotel and Country Club on the first day of the new millenium, when Rick returned to the Island on a permanent basis from Barnsley Football Club where he was head physiotherapist.
Island Physiotherapy's philosophy on private physiotherapy is that it has to be affordable for everyone, the working man deserves good well priced physiotherapy. Then we allocate one hour for every session and the price is only £30. Our private medical insurance is only £30, allowing patients to further their recovery by creating more sessions to help correct ailments. To help support this Island Physiotherapy works 7 days a week allowing support for patients when they wish and also cover in case emergency appointments are required. Emerging back and neck problems will be prioritised same day/night in order that patients are not in discomfort.
We are hands on with our approach, bringing biomechanical knowledge and rehabilitation methods to get patients fit sooner.
In this climate we know the importance of people being fit and healthy in order that they can go to work and support themselves in life.To this end we are proud to get people sorted quickly and back to work and see our service as an essential community business for the people of Peel and the Isle of Man.
